Consultant Engineer (Odoo)

Junior

The bridge between the client and the system. Sit down with clients to see how they actually work, configure Odoo, write specs for developers, connect the tools around it and train users until they can run it themselves.

What you'll do

Run discovery sessions, interview users and map how the client works today
Configure Odoo apps: Sales, Purchase, Inventory, POS, Accounting, Manufacturing
Write clear specs so developers know what to build and why
Coordinate integrations with payment gateways, e-invoicing and websites
Train users, write guides and stay close through go-live

What you need

Around a year of experience with ERP, business software or a similar role
A feel for data: you can read SQL and know where data lives and how it connects
Clear writing and speaking, including explaining technical things to non-technical people
Enough HTTP/API knowledge to discuss integrations with developers
Patience when a client changes their mind, and the habit of asking follow-up questions

Nice to have

Background in accounting, inventory or retail operations
An Odoo Functional certification, or you're studying for one
Small Python scripts for handling data
